H Kindergarten

ZY Kindergarten

The complex is a two storey building with two classrooms on the ground floor and one on the first floor with adjacent roof garden.

Eucalyptus grove unifies an existing kindergarten complex to the new complex.

A common gathering courtyard is facing the eucalyptus trees.

Herzliya municipality chose HPL (Decorative High Pressure compact Laminate) as the exterior material for all its kindergartens. The modules and colors of the HPL became a major feature in the design of the whole complex. The rhythm and colors of the HPL became the columns of the pergola.

A close coordination with the education department and all the municipal departments was a key to a meticulous design.

The objective of the project was to create a meeting point between the  three classrooms through the entrance courtyard and a meeting point between the existing kindergarten and the new one through revitalizing of the eucalyptus grove.
